The DS3231S# is a versatile real-time clock (RTC) IC with a built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) that provides high accuracy of +/-2PPM. It is equipped with an I2C interface and comes in a 16-pin wide small outline integrated circuit (WSOIC) package. The date format is YY-MM-DD, and the clock format is HH:MM:SS. With a supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V, this clock IC is suitable for a wide range of applications. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C, and it has a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of MSL 1 - Unlimited. This RTC IC does not contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), making it environmentally compliant
