Built with Intersil’s proprietary FemtoCharge™ technology on a standard CMOS process, this A/D converter delivers impressive performance with a sample rate of 500MSPS. It is part of a pin-compatible A/D portfolio that includes 10, 12, and 14-bit options with sample rates ranging from 125MSPS to 500MSPS, offering versatility to suit various project requirements. The KAD5510P-50Q72 utilizes two time-interleaved 10-bit, 250MSPS A/D cores to achieve its high sample rate, effectively managing the conversion clock and internal interleave clocking for optimal performance. With a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) port, users have extensive configurability to fine-tune characteristics such as gain, offset, and skew between the two converter cores, minimizing spurs associated with the interleaving process. The converter presents digital output data in selectable LVDS or CMOS formats, ensuring seamless integration into different systems. Housed in a 72 Ld QFN package with an exposed paddle, the KAD5510P-50Q72 is designed to perform reliably over the full industrial temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications
