KSZ9031RNXCA Allgemeine Beschreibung

The KSZ9031RNXCA is a versatile and fully integrated Ethernet physical-layer transceiver designed for triple-speed data transmission and reception on standard CAT-5 UTP cable. With support for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T speeds, this transceiver is suitable for a wide range of networking applications. The KSZ9031MNX variant offers the industry-standard GMII/MII for high-speed data transfer, while the KSZ9031RNX provides the reduced gigabit media independent interface (RGMII) for simplified board layout and cost savings. In addition to its advanced connectivity features, the KSZ9031 includes on-chip termination resistors for the four differential pairs, as well as an integrated LDO controller to drive a low-cost MOSFET for core power supply. This results in reduced board complexity and cost. Furthermore, the transceiver offers diagnostic capabilities for system bring-up, debugging, and production testing, including parametric NAND tree support for fault detection, LinkMD® TDR-based cable diagnostics, and remote and local loopback functions for verifying analog and digital data paths
