The MAX5019/MAX5020 are highly versatile integrated circuits that offer a comprehensive range of features for DC-DC fixed-frequency power supply implementations. By supporting both primary- and secondary-side regulation, these devices cater to the requirements of both isolated and non-isolated power supplies in telecom and industrial applications. The current-mode control, along with a built-in high-voltage startup circuit, makes these controllers suitable for a wide voltage range of power supplies. The MAX5019 also offers the advantage of an 85% operating duty cycle, enabling the implementation of flyback converters. On the other hand, the MAX5020 is designed for operating duty cycles of less than 50% and is well-suited for single-ended forward converters
