The internally terminated differential CML inputs accept a wide range of signal types, including AC-coupled LVPECL and direct coupled CML, simplifying the design process and reducing the need for external components. The differential 16 mA CML outputs feature internal 50 Ohm terminations, ensuring reliable signal transmission with 400 mV output swings when externally terminated. Controlled by single-ended LVCMOS/LVTTL SEL inputs, the NB4N840M can be configured as a versatile 1:2 fan-out, repeater, or 2 x 2 crosspoint switch, offering flexibility in signal routing.
