With continuous firmware updates, the RN4871-V/RM130 offers added features and bug fixes to ensure optimal performance. Firmware 1.41.0 adds additional UART configuration flexibility and addresses known issues, while firmware 1.40.0 fixes bugs and adds a feature to turn off advertising at power-on. The RN4871-V/RM130 is also available in industrial temperature range for easier transition. With firmware 1.30.0, bugs with invalid Bluetooth address are fixed, and firmware 1.28.2 introduces LE Secure Connections and Data Length Extension features, among other bug fixes. The initial release, firmware 1.18.3, paved the way for the development of this high-performance Bluetooth module
