The TLE4254GA is an integrated circuit meticulously designed to meet the rigorous demands of automotive applications by providing power to off-board systems, particularly sensors used in powertrain management. This IC is equipped with advanced protection functions to safeguard against reverse polarity and short circuits to both ground and the battery. With a maximum supply voltage of 40 V, the TLE4254GA offers highly precise output voltage regulation that closely follows a reference voltage applied at the adjust input. Whether the reference voltage is directly applied or passed through an external resistor divider, this IC can support a minimum reference voltage of 2.0 V. Furthermore, the output of the TLE4254GA can drive loads up to 70 mA while maintaining exceptional accuracy in tracking a 5 V output from a main voltage regulator acting as a reference
