With its 3.3V/5V high-speed logic gate output, the FODM8071 Optocoupler is at the forefront of isolated communications technology, ensuring that digital signals can seamlessly communicate between systems without the worry of ground loops or hazardous voltages. This innovative optocoupler harnesses the power of ON Semiconductor’s proprietary coplanar packaging technology, Optoplanar®, and optimized IC design to deliver exceptional noise immunity and high common mode rejection specifications. Housed in a compact 5-Pin Mini-Flat package, it features a high-speed AlGaAs LED at the input, coupled with a CMOS detector IC at the output. The detector IC boasts an integrated photodiode, a high-speed transimpedance amplifier, and a voltage comparator with an output driver, all working in tandem to achieve low power consumption and extremely high speed - with a 60ns propagation delay and 20ns pulse width distortion
