MAX6954APL Allgemeine Beschreibung

The MAX6954APL is a highly efficient display driver designed to seamlessly interface microprocessors with various LED displays. With a compact form factor, this driver utilizes a 4-wire serial interface, which is compatible with both SPI and QSPI, to enable easy connectivity with multiple devices. It has the capability to drive a combination of 7-segment, 14-segment, and 16-segment LED displays, as well as up to 128 discrete LEDs. Operating from a low supply voltage of 2.7V, the MAX6954APL can efficiently drive up to 16 digits 7-segment, 8 digits 14-segment, or 8 digits 16-segment displays. Furthermore, it also features five I/O expander (or GPIO) lines, with the flexibility to configure some or all of them as a key-switch reader. This functionality allows for the automatic scanning and debouncing of a matrix comprising up to 32 switches. With its versatile capabilities and efficient operation, the MAX6954APL is an ideal solution for driving LED displays in a wide range of applications
