TOP261EN Allgemeine Beschreibung

TOP261EN is a high-efficiency, off-line switcher IC designed for power supplies in consumer electronics, white goods, set-top boxes, and auxiliary power supplies. It is manufactured by Power Integrations and features an integrated 700V power MOSFET, frequency jittering for low EMI, frequency foldback with line voltage for improved line ripple rejection, green-mode operation for high standby efficiency, and a 132 kHz operating frequency. The device also includes comprehensive protection features such as auto-restart for short-circuit and open-loop protection, input undervoltage lockout, over-temperature protection, and overvoltage protection.The TOP261EN offers a wide input voltage range of 85VAC to 265VAC and is suitable for adapters, chargers, and standby power supplies up to 25W. It provides up to 65% efficiency under light load conditions and up to 89% efficiency under full load conditions, making it an energy-efficient solution for various applications. The device is housed in a 7-pin eSIP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
