L4979MD Allgemeine Beschreibung

L4979MD is a low dropout linear regulator with microprocessor control functions, including low voltage reset, watchdog, and on/off control. It offers a typical quiescent current of 100 μA in very low output current mode and enabled regulator, which helps to minimize power consumption while ensuring reliable performance. Furthermore, the device features on-chip trimming for high output voltage accuracy (+/-2%) over a wide temperature range, as well as consistent operation in the face of varying line and load conditions. Additionally, with a maximum input voltage of 40V and internally limited max output current, the L4979MD is designed to provide robust and reliable regulation. The internal temperature protection further enhances the safety and reliability of the regulator by disabling the voltage regulator output in case of overheating
